Admission to the J.D. Edwards Honors Program is by application only. Application to the Program also serves as application to the University Honors Program. Application materials are linked to the University of Nebraska application available at: http://admissions.unl.edu/apply/. You must complete the University of Nebraska application in order to access the J.D. Edwards Honors Program application.
The Honors application for 2007-08 is now available.
Applications must be submitted by November 19, 2007.
Students will be selected based on the strength of their application to participate in interviews at the Kauffman Center. These interviews will begin in late January and continue through early March. Final offers will be made to students in March and April.
We look for top students who possess these standards and characteristics:- A composite ACT score of at least 30, or a combined SAT score of at least 1380 (Combined math and critical reading sections only)
- Top 5% high school class ranking or GPA above 3.9
- Demonstrated interest in computer science and business
- Proven leadership potential
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- History of community involvement
- Strong recommendations
- Strong background in mathematics
- Proven capacity for hard work
- An understanding of how the J.D. Edwards Honors Program will enhance your educational and professional goals
